I didn't drill my holes for such a selfish reason. I did it so other people could see the world clear the way I can.

Did you ask them if they wanted that? Or did you just assume, using yourself as a framework? One answer is more selfish than the other.

Well that was the problem back then. I didn’t factor willingness into account. I didn’t think anyone would be willing, really...

But I know everyone who survived... having that hole made their lives better.
